project overview
A campaign built around scale and immersion. Instead of explaining complex research, VML translated the work of UAntwerp into a physical experience. Recreating the particle accelerator of CERN inside a pedestrian tunnel in Antwerp. Through light and sound, the installation simulates particle collisions, turning abstract science into something tangible and immediate. By taking over the entire space, from escalators to walls the campaign brings the story into a human scale. Making complex research accessible and engaging. The result positions the university not just as a place of knowledge, but as an active player in shaping the origins of our world, translating scientific ambition into a direct, sensory experience.
